The Galactic Rodeo is a children’s ride in Galaxyland in Canada’s West Edmonton Mall. The ride replaced the Galaxy Raceway, which was in the same location and whose sign is still present.

Besides the name, the only real change to the ride was replacing the electric go-karts with Animal Riders. These have also been made available to ride elsewhere in the mall: previously in the location where The Lego Store is today, and in Phase one close to the Center Stage.

Aside from adding “Galactic” to the name of the ride, it is unclear how the generic stuffed animal riders relate to the theme of the park. It’s likely they were chosen as a ‘quick fix’ to replace the aging cars of the Galaxy Raceway.
