Overlooking the once scenic, but now wacky, 18 hole mini putt course, is the classic indoor Parisian street: Europa Blvd.
Truly a unique sight to see, this bit of outdoor Europe is an elegant addition to West Edmonton Mall. This area of the mall hosts some deluxe shops, such as Simon’s and formerly Henry Singer, and even boats a fountain and cafe with ‘patio’ seating.
Europa Blvd. opened along with the rest of Phase 3 in 1985 / 1986.
While many Phase 3 attractions launched the following year in 1986, Europa Blvd. was one of the fully completed areas when Phase 3 launched in 1985. It’s classic European atmosphere was an immediate hit with visitors, and to this day can impress even the most seasoned mall goers.
