The Rockin’ Rocket was a ride in Galaxyland, West Edmonton Mall.
The ride is a Rockin’ Tug manufactured by Zemperla. The ride’s theme was updated from that of a boat, to a rocket ship, in order to match the space theme of the park.
The Ride had a capacity of 24 people. Like the Flying Galleon, riders were seating in rows facing the center of the ‘ship’. The ship would then spin in a circle while rocking back and forth on a U-shaped track.
The ride was removed in 2006 when constriction on the Galaxy Orbiter began. Today, the space is occupied by the Orbiter’s queue and loading area.
