The Blue Bullet is a pair of advanced water slides at West Edmonton Mall’s World Waterpark.
The name originates from the fact that, upon the World Watermark’s opening in 1986, the slides’ blue color differentiated it from the rest in the park. While multi-colored today, the original slides at the park were all the same beige color as the Howler and Twister, with the glaring exception being the Blue Bullet.
The current Blue Bullet slide came into existence in 2008, after the original version (which carried the same name of Blue Bullet) was decommissioned earlier that year.
The slides, which require riders to remain laying down for the duration of the trip, produce some of the fastest and most exhilarating rides in the park. Some fans of the slides claim the ride to be more intense than even those in the extreme category.
